I've posted about this a fair amount on social media but realised I had forgotten to announce it on this semi-dormant blog. The nature of this year demanded new projects really - particularly things that could be done easily from home - so it seemed the right time to at last fulfil my goal of creating new radio content, albeit via the platform of Mixcloud.
Collisions borrows its name from the Collisions night that Cath Roberts and I ran for a while at The Albany in London. The idea was to present divergent but also complementary double bills from across different genres of music. The idea behind the Mixcloud show is cut from the same cloth - present music from across the spectra, with different approaches, but plenty of common threads.
